After a hectic few months of finishing my degree (and then celebrating extensively that I had actually survived my final year of university), I was certain that I wanted to take some time off before finding myself a graduate job. However, it turns out that I’m not great at taking a break – and two days after moving home I decided to start my job hunt, which led me to FieldHouse.
Everything moved very fast – I had my initial interview with Tom and Iain, and then my second interview with Cordelia and Aislinn only three days later. By this point I realised I really (really really) wanted to work at FieldHouse, so when I found out I’d been offered the job on the day of my graduation it made a very special day even better! I used to feel very lost about what area of work I wanted to go into, but after some research I thought that PR and communications would be a great fit for me, and I am so grateful to FieldHouse for offering me the opportunity to get started in this sector.
Upon discovering FieldHouse I knew that it was exactly the kind of company I wanted to work for – offering dynamic and varied opportunities in the fast-paced startup world, with a close-knit team that really value one another. You know that feeling when you go somewhere new, and it just feels right, and you can really envision yourself there? That’s what I felt at my first interview, and I am so excited that it is now my reality!
I can’t wait to get my post-university life started with FieldHouse, to develop myself and my skills in the communications industry, and to see where my career takes me.
Here’s to a new chapter!
