Debbie Mayhew appointed as Director of FieldHouse Cambridge.
Today sees the launch of a Cambridge office of FieldHouse Associates – the award-winning specialist communications and growth consultancy for companies in the innovation and investment ecosystem.
The announcement is the latest milestone in the rapid expansion of the company – since it was founded in London in 2012, it has seen 100 per cent year-on-year growth.
The new office is being led by former BBC journalist Debbie Mayhew, who now specialises in PR and communications and has worked for Cambridge technology firms such as breakthrough innovation specialist Cambridge Consultants. Her five years at the product development company – a principal founder of the Cambridge technology cluster – saw its media profile transformed and the firm double the scale of its global operations.
Debbie said, “The new FieldHouse Cambridge office brings the unique FieldHouse approach to communications into the very heart of the Cambridge tech cluster. The team’s understanding of founders, tech entrepreneurs, investors and innovators means FieldHouse knows how to tell their stories to make an impact. Now, for the first time, its winning formula of strategic counsel combined with effective execution is available on the doorstep of the Cambridge tech community.”
Wholly driven by impact, FieldHouse Associates works with companies to develop and implement brand communications and public relations strategies that help them achieve their commercial objectives.
The team measures its success by the impact it has on its clients’ businesses – elevating a venture capital firm with no profile to ‘top four’ status in Europe, for example, and helping a cyber security company through two successful funding rounds to a billion-dollar valuation.
Cordelia Meacher, Managing Director of FieldHouse Associates, said, “Today marks an exciting new chapter in the FieldHouse success story. Our new office will enable us to better serve our growing list of Cambridge clients – and help even more tech cluster companies make an impact in the innovation space.
“Our services range from helping clients grow their customer base, launch new products and services or build their employer brand when hiring – to raising their profile with investors when they are working towards a new funding round or their exit. What they all have in common is that they are defined by the specific objectives the clients want to achieve, the audiences they want to reach – and the impact they want to have on the market.”
