With spring on the horizon, and diaries filling up, we wanted to share a few details about tech and venture capital events we’re particularly excited about. By no means a comprehensive list, but a selection of the ones not to miss in the coming months from us and our partners – and we hope to see you there!

START Summit, 23 – 24 March

Start Summit is a student-run conference, held in St. Gallen, Switzerland with a mission to connect students from some of the top business schools in Europe with leaders in the startup ecosystem. Attracting some of Europe’s leading investors and founders, this year’s line-up includes speakers from Index Ventures, Speedinvest, La Famiglia, Duolingo and wefox.

Cambridge Tech Week, 9 – 12 May

The first ever Cambridge Tech Week will be taking place 9-12 May this year, and FieldHouse Associates is delighted to be partnering with the team at CW (Cambridge Wireless Ltd), led by Ann Fisher, to bring this exciting event to the Cambridge ecosystem.

The theme for the first event is ‘Finding the Future’, celebrating the deeptech that #Cambridge is world renowned for – including AI, semiconductors and quantum technologies.

Tech.eu Summit, 24 May

After the success of the first Tech.eu Summit last year, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better! Held once again at the Brussels Expo, the Summit will bring together over 1,800 entrepreneurs, investors, corporate leaders and policy makers.

You can expect high calibre content, curated by Founding Editor Robin Wauters themed around ‘sustainable growth’, and plenty of opportunities to network with peers from the European community between panel sessions.

Confirmed speakers for this year include the Deputy CEO of Austria’s Bitpanda and Target Global partner Bao-Y Van Cong, Ann Mettler, Vice President of Europe at Bill Gates-founded Breakthrough Energy and Johannes Schildt, Co-founder and CEO of Kry.

SuperVenture, 5 – 7 June

If you work in, or invest in, #venturecapital, there’s no question you should be there as it’s one of the key LP/VC relations events of the year. SuperVenture gives you three days full of insight and networking focused on VC and LP perspectives. Explore valuations and LP allocations – and the latest insights on integrating ESG and making impactful investments. It’s all about getting to grips with the latest trends, opportunities and challenges, while make lasting connections with industry peers.

As a longstanding partner, FieldHouse Associates is able to offer clients and friends a 10% discount with our VIP code: FKR2674FIELD

Do let us know if you’re planning to attend – and we hope to see you in Berlin in June.

London Tech Week, 12 – 16 June

Similarly themed this year around ‘sustainable innovation’, London Tech Week is one of the landmark events in the annual European tech calendar. Now in its 10th year, LTW will be held in Westminster, London, at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre.

As ever, you can expect high profile speakers from the technology industry and wider business community, from Brent Hoberman to Dr Ali Parsa, Euan Blair MBE, and Michael Acton-Smith.

Keep an eye out for the EQL:Her sessions at this year’s event, designed to address the challenge of inequity in the tech industry.

BVCA High Growth, 27 June

Due to be held in London at the end of June, the British Venture Capital Association (BVCA) High Growth conference will look at strategic issues shaping the UK venture capital and technology industries in the next few years.

More details are due to be released soon – watch this space!

Cog X Festival, 12 – 14 September

Looking ahead to Autumn, another landmark event in the European tech calendar, CogX is set to be bigger and better than ever for 2023! The Festival was founded by entrepreneurs Tabitha Goldstaub and Charlie Muirhead in 2017, initially with a focus on the impact of AI on industry, Government and society.

The agenda and content is now much broader, covering themes such as climate, health, startup to IPO, AI, deeptech, fintech, Web3, and the metaverse. Over 30 speakers have been announced, including Emad Mostaque of Stability AI, Nigel Toon of Graphcore, Carlos Eduardo Espinal of Seedcamp, and Dennis Nobelius of Polestar.

The most affordable and inclusive Festival yet, with passes starting at £98, and £38 for students. The Global Leadership Summit and Executive Programme provide priority access to all stages and all lounges and exclusive side events each day.
