Ashleigh joined FieldHouse in January 2020 as an Account Manager, working primarily with cybersecurity clients, but also VC and fast-growth startups. Her wider experience spans fintech, open source and general technology for B2B.
She previously worked at Octopus Group managing general day-to-day press office functions, supporting thought leadership and wider themes, and running various campaigns. Her clients included the likes of Currencycloud, Cumulus Networks, Adecco and Hectare Agritech. One of her crowning moments was working on the Tudder (Tinder for Cows) campaigns which won multiple PR Week Awards.
Before moving to London, she was a financial journalist covering general banking, business and regulation stories in South Africa. Ashleigh is currently studying an MSc in Computing & IT and has a keen interest in cybersecurity and software. She is a firm believer in continuous learning and the need for upskilling and development in all areas of life.
She studied a BA in Journalism and Media Studies at Rhodes University in South Africa, where she also tried her hand at learning German and wrote for the campus newspaper. An avid DIY crafter, in her spare time she loves to try her hand scrapbooking, bullet journaling and anything else Pinterest suggests.
