Charlie joined FieldHouse Associates as a Senior Associate in September 2016. Despite a brief early-career blip working with a squeezy cheese brand, Charlie has spent ten years in technology PR. Her varied career has taken her across the country – from her home town of Newcastle to the Isle of Man, and now London – and has also spanned several verticals across both B2B and B2C.
Working with big-name techology brands including Qualcomm, Lenovo, Vodafone, and NXP, Charlie has been involved in and managed high-impact campaigns across IoT, mobility, retail, telecoms, and media. She was part of the team tasked with transitioning Qualcomm into the consumer lifestyle media, and developed a knack for translating deeply technical information into stories that everyday consumers care about.
A few years ago, Charlie decided to take her career in a different direction, refocusing on the world of fast-growth business. Working as an Account Director at Albion Drive, she led a range of communications campaigns designed to support and champion startups. This included managing the launch of HiBob (a Bessemer-backed HR platform), launching Nominet Trust’s annual collection of the 100 most innovative companies using tech to solve social problems globally, the NT100, and driving ongoing campaigns for the likes of Innovate UK’s IC tomorrow programme, Universal Avenue, and Nominet Trust to name a few.
At FieldHouse, Charlie leverages her varied experience and network to support clients across all areas of the business. Having made a major decision to improve her own health a few years ago – losing nine stone in just 10 months – she has a particular passion for health tech, and is always keen to work with companies innovating in this area.
