Ellie joined FieldHouse Associates in January 2017. She got her first taste of working in PR and communications while still at university, interning at B2B agency Rostrum during a summer vacation. Ellie graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in English Literature and Language in 2015, and after taking a year out to travel around South America, South East Asia and Madagascar, she spent a further two months as an intern at Rostrum, where she worked on corporate communications campaigns for clients such as Sodexo and NetNames.
Ellie currently works across a spread of venture clients, including Beringea and JLR InMotion Ventures, as well as some of FieldHouse’s tech clients like antipiracy startup MUSO and data insights company Black Swan. Ellie also works with Pitch@Palace, the Duke of York’s pitch competition for the UK’s most promising startups. At the weekends, Ellie is most likely to be found in hot pursuit of the best sushi spots in London, and as a fluent Spanish speaker she spends as much time as possible travelling abroad to Spanish-speaking countries to brush up on her language skills (and drink lots of sangria, of course).
