Overview

We’re looking for an entrepreneurially-minded Senior Account Manager with B2B technology experience to lead our work with a number of clients across the fast-growth technology, innovation, and investment ecosystem.

Salary: £38,000-45,000 depending on experience.

What to expect
from the role

You’ll be the point person for a portfolio of clients drawn from across our roster – from fast-growing technology companies to VC firms, from innovative corporates to leading ecosystem events and initiatives. You’ll be responsible for the development of strategic communications plans and ensure your teams are delivering against those plans, always with a focus on achieving impact in the right places. You’ll be a trusted source of consultative guidance for your clients. But don’t worry – while you’ll have a lot of autonomy, you’ll also have the full support of the senior leadership when you want or need it.

What We're
looking for

Prior experience working with fast-growth technology companies or venture capital firms in some capacity is desirable – but a demonstrable strong interest in the ecosystem, how it works, and how the companies within it are driving change in society and the economy, is a must.

Reflecting the nature of the clients we work with – and our own status as a fast-growing scaleup – we look for people with an entrepreneurial streak, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and aren’t fazed by sudden changes of plan.

We often work directly with partners, managing directors, and CEOs – you’ll need to be able to make comms make sense to non-specialists, and to hold your own in a room full of senior stakeholders.

Media relations is a huge part of what we do, so we need team members to have a deep knowledge of, and personal relationships with, the people and publications covering our space – and the ability to translate ideas into pitches that make an impact on those people.

Clients value our strategic input – we aren’t “just PR people” to them, so we look for analytical capabilities and the confidence and ability to offer strategic guidance. But at the same time, we need effective managers to make sure account teams are proactive, impact-focused, and getting the day-to-day work done to the high standards we – and our clients – expect.
