did it

In consultation with specialist lawyers, we developed a watertight Q&A and carefully briefed the board, investors, and other relevant stakeholders on what to say and do if approached by any media about the story. We also developed an internal communications plan to equip the board to brief the wider team appropriately if the news broke.

Working with the board member in question and the CEO, we provided responses to the journalists’ questions, and over the course of several follow-up conversations convinced them that there was no merit in pursuing the story.
